Character Bio 03- Brooke

This is Brooke. She attends the same High School as Blaine and Kyre and is often paired with Blaine as a lab partner during science classes. Probably her largest drawback and the main source of her problems is the fact that she's narcoleptic, meaning that she was born with a tendency to randomly and rapidly fall into deep sleep anytime she's conscious. This brings up hundreds and hundreds of problems, but she takes prescribed medication that keeps her awake. However, this particular medicine doesn't guarantee full effectiveness, and fails every so often, causing her to collapse on the floor, her desk, or anywhere else she may be when her narcoleptic attack hits. After she falls asleep, the time she stays that way is completely unpredictable. She could be asleep for a few seconds, hours, or the rest of the day, meaning that once she's asleep, the school staff doesn't know what the heck to do with her, leading them to simply leave her alone for the duration of the class and rely on the students to catch her up on everything she may have missed. However, she still manages to ace her tests and manage good grades. This is because she has the ability to listen to her surroundings while asleep and subconsciously and unconsciously process that information, meaning that anything she hears during her naps, she'll remember after she wakes up. This ability has made her the source of various gossip and rumors throughout the school. But other than this incredibly obvious biological design flaw, she functions pretty well on everything else, and can still manage an almost-regular lifestyle. She's got her share of friends, activities, and even has her own boyfriend. While behaviorally, she's not shy, she is quite soft-spoken, and just barely whispers her sentences. Her normal wardrobe consists of just Jeans and a blue sweatshirt. It gets really hot under her layers of clothing, but it acts as a great portable blanket.
